We appreciate that you may want to have an input into the music that is played on the night, which is always a great idea, with the DJ welcoming a playlist from you. This will give him a very good indication before the day of your music tastes and requirements. We recommend providing a playlist for no more than 20 songs for the evening, leaving the DJ then some space to put his own stance on the evening.

Peace of Mind
At Perfect Party Cornwall, we are with you from enquiry to event – booking with us gives you complete peace of mind that you will never be let down.
You have our complete backup service including on the big day itself. In the rare event that the DJ is ill on the day, and cannot make your booking, we will ensure that a suitable DJ is with you. They will be fully briefed on your requirements and will be equipped with all of the music requirements previously provided. It’s not often this is required, but it is always reassuring to know that option is there.
Sound & Lighting
Sound and lighting are focused on the dance floor where it belongs, so conversation doesn’t become a shouting match, with sound levels controlled to suit your requirements and venue.
Our DJ’s use excellent sound and lighting equipment which is well maintained and always looks professional. All equipment used is PAT tested, and they all have the necessary PLI cover.
Additional lighting is available with most of our DJ’s, so we can factor in mood lighting and uplighters for you.
Timing is Key
We understand that no two events or venues are the same, and we will always try to accommodate your timing requirements
From earlier setups to ensure the formalities of the day run seamlessly into the evening party to post-midnight finishes for the party animals, we offer the timing flexibility you need.
Need an all day package? We can provide background music during the wedding breakfast, microphones for the speeches before proceeding into the evening disco.
The Perfect Playlist
Everyone has a favourite song that gets their toes tapping (and often one that is a dance floor dud they don’t want to hear!), which is why our DJs will work with you to curate the perfect playlist.
About 4 weeks prior to your event, we will be in touch to discuss any particular songs you’d like included, the all-important first dance song, and anything to avoid. We always recommend that you also allow for the DJ to put his own stamp on the evening for you, playing what he feels your guests are enjoying on the night. He can of course take the usual requests from guests on the night as well.
Suiting Your Style
Are you having a ’themed’ wedding or event? Alongside the fantastic lighting and booths, all our DJ’s have, some also offer an alternative option on this.
Perhaps the rustic theme would suit your venue/theme, or for a beach style wedding, the VW booth is always a bit hit! For something more mobile and quirky, there is even the option of a converted 1972 VW campervan that be a full-on DJ booth. Extra lighting is always available at an additional cost if required.
