They say organising a Wedding is one of the most stressful tasks you will undertake, trying to achieve a balance between value and quality and ultimately having to rely on strangers to make your big day that extra bit special can seem a daunting thought.

We would like to make at least one of those tasks as stress free as possible for you ……… here at Perfect Party we can give you complete peace of mind that you are in safe and professional hands. Despite the generic image of Mobile DJ’s being all the same, they are all very different in their approach to work, services and professionalism.

We are confident in saying that all our DJ’s are fully conversant in wedding etiquette and not only do they have the experience to build that unique dance floor atmosphere, they also understand the importance of presentation and communication. We appreciate that you may want to have an input into the music that is played on the night, which is always a great idea.

The DJ’s would welcome a playlist from you which helps them understand what your music tastes are. We recommend providing a playlist for no more than 40% of the evening with the DJ filling in the rest. This gives him the chance of keeping the dance floor busy should he need to change the music to please all your guests.

Once a booking has been made, the contract will give you the full contact details for your DJ, so you can chat to or email him at length well before the day to discuss the playlist, first dance request and any other special requests you may have.

We also provide you with a pre-event request list that can be completed and returned to us, should you not wish to contact the DJ before the day.

If you require the DJ to arrive earlier in the day to set up, and be on hand to provide you with some background music for a ceremony, drinks reception or indeed during the wedding breakfast itself, this can certainly be arranged for an additional charge. Use of the DJ’s microphone would also be available to you for the speeches.

All our DJ’s have Public Liability Insurance. This is important should any accidents occur to your guests as a direct result involving the DJ or his equipment. Also, all their equipment used is PAT tested, an annual electrical safety test on equipment. Sometimes venues will request that they see a copy of the certificate for each before the DJ can play there, this can easily be arranged, and we will take care of that formality for you.

We have a selection DJ’s that can provide you with quality karaoke facilities as well if required.

Maybe you don’t want a live band, but would like some other form of entertainment to go with the disco. A popular choice is our ‘Fun Casino & Disco Package’, which provides you with a quality disco for the evening, together with one blackjack table and one roulette table. An experienced croupier is provided with each of the tables, so even the most inexperienced gamblers can learn to play and get to enjoy the evening. As ‘fun’ money is used at all times, guests of all ages can take part, it really is great fun and very addictive!

Do not book a DJ simply because he is low priced. It has been quoted many times that a good DJ is the one thing that can really make or break your night. When arranging a Wedding, the DJ is usually one of the less expensive things on the list.
